We are currently planning a safe, phased re-opening in line with the Government's strict new measures that have been introduced to minimise the spread of COVID-19.

Our top priority is to not to put our staff, customers or public health at risk.


From Saturday 11th July 2020   -   the Pub will be open with limited hours and days for drinks only (no food) on....

Friday’s -  3pm to 9pm

Saturday’s  -   12 noon to 9pm

Sunday’s  -   12 noon to 9pm


  • We have a reduced seated indoor capacity and will be encouraging people to use the outside tables if at all possible.
  • An increased hygiene protocol has been introduced so before entry you must use the provided hand sanitiser.
  • We will take contact details and keep them for 21 days to comply with the Track & Trace legislation (GDPR compliant)
  • You will be allocated a table and there will be Table Service only.
  • A Tab system will be in place to reduce multiple card/cash transactions - All tabs to be settled on leaving preferably by contactless card.
  • Social distancing will be in place, please respect everyone’s personal space and adhere to the 2m rule.
  • You must remain with your 'bubble' and not move from table to table.
  • Children must remain seated and dogs within the social distance of your table only.
  • Everyone adheres to the one way system - entering by the front door, and exiting by the back door.
  • Doors and windows may be open to improve ventilation.
  • Only one person at a time in either toilet.

From Friday 24th July 2020 - Caravan & Campsite will open however the shower/toilet block will remain closed

Water, chemical disposal point, EHU and refuse bins will be available to use.

Therefore ......

  • Booking limited to 1 self -sufficient unit only.
  • Everyone is expected to adhere to the 2m social distancing rules, not gather in groups of more than 2 households/6 people.
  • Everyone must only use and stay on their own allocated pitch as much as possible.
  • Wash & sanitise hands frequently.
  • If you feel unwell and have COVID-19 symptoms, you must inform us immediately.

It is important we all work together to follow these guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19, but anyone unable or unwilling to follow these guidelines will be asked to leave.

We will formally review our procedures and openings during the w/c 27th July 2020 but changes and alterations are expected to be ongoing as necessary, or to accommodate new guidance or legislation.

We will keep you as up-to-date as we can.
